Moulana Irshaad Riyazuddin
PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER

Moulana Irshaad ibn Zafferullah ibn Ghiyasuddin ibn Riyazuddin Undre As-Shafi’i was born and raised in the north-west of England (Blackburn, Lancashire) into a religious family, having a maternal ancestry leading back to the Beloved of Allah, Muhammad b. Abdullah . Moulana’s initial Islamic education was at the hands of his grandfather, a very learned man, well versed in the Shafi'i Madh-hab and Islamic sciences. Fresh off completing a degree in Computing & Information Technology, he formally enrolled into the ‘Aalimiyyah Course in the year 2002, at Darul Uloom Blackburn,’Jamiatul ‘Ilm Wal Huda’, wherein he studied under the tutelage and care of the leading scholars of the north-west region, following the renowned Dars Nizamiyyah syllabus covering Nahwa (Arabic Grammar), Sarf (Morphology), Hadith, Usool, Qiraa’ah (Qur’aanic Recitation), Tajweed, Fiqh, and the Sihah Sittah (Six Major Collections of Ahaadith). After graduating as a qualified ‘Aalim in the year 2007, and mastering the Fiqh of the Hanafi Madh-hab, Maulana progressed to pursue his studies even further to specialise and complete his studies in Shafi'i Fiqh. Leaving everything behind and journeying into a historic city endowed with a legacy of scholastic tradition: Tarim, Hadramaut in the south of Yemen, Moulana entered the world famous institute of Dar Al Mustafa, Tarim, housing some of the greatest scholars in the Arabian Peninsula, including Habib Umar Bin Hafidh, Shaikh Muhammad Adam As-Sudani, Habib Khadhim As-Saqqaaf,  Shaykh Saleh Al-Baihani, Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Al-Mehdaar, Shaikh Ali Abu Bakr Ba Fadhl, to mention a few (May Allah bless them all in their knowledge and action and make us all benefit from their Uloom - Ameen!). Years later, in 2010 Moulana returned to his home, filled with a powerful sense of zeal and passion he pledged to see the fruition of his new-founded mission: ‘Bayt Muhammad Academy' which he runs, with his wife, (a graduate ‘Aalimah and a specialist in Shafi'i Fiqh), providing essential Islamic knowledge to children and adults, male and female alike, across the whole of the United Kingdom.

Moulana Saeed Haddadi

As-Sayyid moulana Saeed al-Haddad studied at Jamiah Hussainia Arabia shriwardahn in India, from 1985-1995 and then studied at Jamia islamiyah Arabia in Bolton, from 1996-1999 and graduated in 1999 as an Alim, Hafidh al Qur'an and Qari. Born to an illustrious family of scholars, leading to the great Imam and saint of the arabian peninsula, Imam Abdullah al-Haddad (r.a). Moulana studies all his early studies from the great Shafi'i scholar of India, who is also his father: Moulana Bashir al-Haddad. Moulana Saeed currently is the Full time Imam of Masjid Saliheen and senior teacher of Tajweed at BMA.

Mufti Ismail Mulla
VICE-PRINCIPAL
Mufti Ismail Mulla completed Hifz at the tender age of twelve years old. Thereafter he enrolled at the prestigous jamiatul I'lm Wal Huda in 1997 and completed the 'Aalim course in 2003. Maulana furthered his pursuit of knowledge and travelled to India, to study at the famour seminary Darul Uloom Kantharia, Bharuch in 2003 and benefited from the likes of Mufti Ismail Bharkhodrawi and Mufti Abdullah Kawi (r.a) in ifta, and spent a year in speciality of Hadith studies with Sheikh Mujtaba. Currently he serves at Masjide Taleemul Islam as a full time
imam and teacher of Ahaadith at BMA.
Ustaadha Umm Aisha
PRINCIPAL - SISTERS WING
Born and raised in Maharashtra, India began her Islamic studies and spiritual guidance from her mother and other local scholars. After completing her primary school she traveled to one of Indias most prominent and illustrious islamic madrasah in gujerat, jamiah Islahul banaat. She stayed there for seven years under the guidance of the great scholar and saint, hazrat, al-allamah Shaukat Ali A'zami (r.a) and founder of the madrasah shaikh Abdul Haq Mian (r.a). Here she studied all the islamic sciences from Arabic, Grammar, Fiqh, usool, mantiq, and of course Qur'anic recitation, tafseer, and the six sihah collections of ahadith. Ustadha completed her formal studies in 1997 as a qualified Islamic scholar. Ustadha was immediately appointed as head teacher at another madrasah by direct guidance and advise of her shaikh allamah Shaikat ali Saab. Here she taught and managed the complete dars e nizami and conducted lectures and dawah sessions across India. After many years away from home she finally returned in 2001, where she then married and moved to the UK. Her zeal for spreading Islam continued here in the UK where she immediately began teaching in the prominent female madrasah in Lancaster, aka Lancaster Darul Uloom. After this Allah blessed Ustadha along with her family to travel to Hadramout in Yemen in 2008,where she studied and specialised in Shafii fiqh, under the wife of Habib Umar hafidhahulla), Ustadha zainab, (Jordan) and many others. Ustadha completed her studies in 2010 and upon her return to the UK, she began teaching at the madrasah which
was founded and set by herself and her husband Moulana Irshaad Riyazuddin.

Ustaadha formally completed her Alimiyyah Studies at Madrasah Ta’leemul Islam, Jaame Masjid, Blackburn in 2012 under the tutelage of esteemed scholars Mufti Ikramul Haq Sb, Maulana Yusuf Hajat, Mufti Sanaullah Wadee, and the late Mufti Yusuf Bismillaah Sb. Upon completion she was selected by her teachers to teach future generations of Aalimiyyah classes which she taught for a number of years alongside a number of essential classes for female adults in the community. As of 2015, She has served in the children’s wing at Bayt Muhammad Academy.
